I've added the photo gallery feature to the server. Please feel free to upload all your favorite BoulderHeights photos. Please add your own albums to keep this organized, but please, please, upload all photos at the highest possible resolution (sounds like an odd request, I know). |

The BMFPD website now has a feature to allow you to get up-to-date information on fires threatening our neighbourhood. Please go to Boulder Mountain Fire Website and select the menu item for "Wildfire information". |

 The Boulder Heights Webcam is back.... I will be adding more soon (click on image for webcams page or on the new menu item to the left). The images are live, from my house. It took me quite a while to decide on a webcam to replace the lousy one I used to have, but in the end I decided on the Panasonic BL-C10A and BL-C1A.
If you have a window with a view, an ADSL connection (wired), and would like to put up another camera to be shown on this site, give me a shout and I can show you how to do this (and I'll come over and set it up). The outlay for each camera is between $90-$160 (depending if you choose a pan capable or stationary webcam. On my own part, I've bought a total of four cameras, two pan-capable, and two stationary. My goal is to have various views from my house, including a "hummingbird" cam on my feeder.

OK, this hadn't really occurred to me, but if any registered user would like, I can give you a permanent e-mail address of the form [user]@boulderheights.org. I will just forward e-mail to your existing address. Why you would want this? You change internet providers from time to time, but this would keep your e-mail address the same, provided you don't move, of course. I can also do boulderheights.us and boulderheights.net... Just drop me a line... |
